OpenDNS, the site devoted to speed up your web surfing and protect you from phising sites, is said to make $20,000 a day just for doing what it does; according to TechCrunch.
Basically, it has been used by many schools and companies to filter out "bad sites", which includes adult-related sites and just plain time-wasting sites. It also gives out search pages, which gives them $20,000 a day from the 2 million pages it shows.
