The Galactic Throne is a custom built seat made from steel and leather, and it is obviously looking like a sci-fi command chair, with padding like the Dark Lord. With eight hidden wheels, or with no wheels at all, it is made out of real leather - unless you are too cheap, then there is some faux leather or a cloth option as well.

You also might want to start saving for it, because it costs US$5,500 - but you can get it in any colour as you want it to be, as long as that colour is black.

US man too fat to be executed

Now, here is something you don’t really hear everyday - as it combines two of Americans favourite things into one - fat people and executions.

An American inmate on death row has said that he is just too fat to be executed. The inmate, who is 5-feet-7-inches and weighs at 267 pounds, has said that the lethal injection would have trouble finding the veins - and even if it did, it would just lessen the effect of the drug injected into him - an anesthetic meant to dull pain.

The inmate, Richard Cooey, is also said to be taking medication for migraines - which would neutralize any anesthetic and would not be asleep when they administer two other lethal injections - both which kill the inmate.

He was sentenced to death for raping and murdering two women in 1986, and will face execution on October 14 - if he is deemed not too fat for the injection. He was supposed to be executed in 2003, back when he was not fat, but he received a lost minute reprieve.

NZ judge saves girl from “The Hula”.

A New Zealand judge has allowed a girl to ditched the most preposterous name of all time - Talula Does The Hula From Hawaii. The name came up during a custody hearing in New Plymouth back in February, and the child did not want to tell her friends her real name - so she went by the name “K”.

Judge Rob Murfitt said that the name “makes a fool of the child and sets her up with a social disability and handicap, unnecessarily.” The court also resolved the custody issue, and allowed the girl to adopt a new name, but it is not mentioned.

The Register, via the BBC, also notes that it also blocked several other names, including Cinderella Beauty Blossom, Fat Boy, Fish and Chips - who were twins, Keenan Got Lucy, Sex Fruit, Stallion, Twisty Poi and Yeah Detroit.

But, it also allowed the names of Benson and Hedges (who were also twins), Midnight Chardonnay, Violence and Number 16 Bus Shelter - and that is also where the child was conceived.

The headline is not a lie, and we are not pulling some stupid stunt - if you would call it a stunt. John Coyne, the Systems Engineer in the OEM Embedded Devices group at Microsoft, has said that as of November 1 of 2008, they will no longer offer OEM licenses for Windows 3.11.

That is exactly 15 years after it shipped in November 1993. Of course, we are talking about the embedded industry, who kept this baby alive.

Arsenic killed Phar Lap

Scientists have now proven that Australian racehorse champion Phar Lap died from a lethal dose of arsenic.

However, it discovered that the arsenic was ingested in the last 30 to 40 hours of his life when he was in America, not than the taxidermy process. As well, old documents have revealed that the galloper’s trainer, Harry Telford, used arsenic as part of a tonic for Phar Lap.

Arsenic, however, is not unusual for a horse to be digested as a appetite stimulant - if it is used in small doses.

A small town in Minnesota, USA has told Google that its ‘Street View’ feature to get lost.

North Oaks, a private community with 4,500 residents, is not keen with outsiders going through privately-owned streets, even if it’s on the internet. City Officials were not happy when it appeared on the Google-owned Google Maps service, sending a letter to the search giant in January.

The company remove the images after receiving the letter.
